Throwback Thursday!

How brilliant is this photo from the Lent Term of 1935 when College girls staged a production of “Henry of Navarre”

[One cast member had her fellow actors sign her programme - do you recognize any of these names?]

The Drama Department is currently preparing for the 2022 production of ‘Fame’ and is looking to include in its Roll of Honour all those who have been in five (Secondary School) or seven (Secondary and Sixth Form) consecutive College productions.

This is to acknowledge the contributions and achievements of young people who have been involved in department shows from the time they entered the school in Remove until they left either in Upper Five or Upper Six. The contribution is not confined to acting. Playing in the orchestra, helping backstage or as technicians are just as important in the success of our productions

These will be known as ‘The Five in a Row Club’ and ‘The Seven in a Row Club’.

If this applies to you, no matter how long ago you were here, please get in touch with: tcheshire@ladiescollege.ac.gg with details of name of production and year.
