Throwback Thursday!
Today is the last day of term and as always we host the House Swimming Gala.
Swimming has always been an important sport here at The Ladies' College. Before the existence of the school pool the students would take their lessons down at the Bathing Pools, and in the yearly Ilex swimming reports would be full of detail of the girls' achievements. With the College having a pool on site lessons are now a regular part of the curriculum across the whole of the College.
To commemorate the importance of swimming we are kicking off our 150th jubilee celebrations in September with a Ladies at La Vallette event held at the newly renovated bathing pools - we do hope that as many of that can will join us at this gala.
