Specsavers host 2018 networking event

Held at the Specsavers support office in St Andrews, Guernsey in their newly refurbished cafeteria, Contacts.

We were delighted to be in the company of Dame Mary Perkins who was our guest speaker at this year’s Women’s Networking Event held on Thursday 6th September 2018.  Dame Mary has long been a supporter of The Ladies’ College in past roles as governor and patron of our The Gift for Learning campaign and told the story of how her and her husband built up the business of Specsavers.  Both her daughters Cathy and Julie, who work for the company, attended The Ladies’ College and have continued to support the College as alumnae.

The event was held at the Specsavers support office in St Andrews, Guernsey in their newly refurbished cafeteria, Contacts. Grateful thanks goes to Cathy Perkins who helped organise the event and to the Contacts team who supplied the very tasty canapés for the event.
