The Ladies’ College repeat their successful Women’s Networking event

All attendees were given the opportunity to have a tour of the new extension of the College which was finished just before the start of the new school term.

The Ladies’ College invited local business women to attend the second annual networking event on September 8th with principal speakers Deputy Heidi Soulsby and Swoffers Estate Agents director, Shauna Clapham. The event was sponsored by Susie Brown of Gower Financial Services, who supplied refreshments for over 60 guests, which included members of the The Ladies’ College Guild and recent A-Level leavers.

All attendees were given the opportunity to have a tour of the new extension of the College which was finished just before the start of the new school term. Everyone was amazed and impressed by the new development which is part of the Phase 3 A Gift for Learning fundraising campaign which is still actively raising funds towards the £7.5million building project.

“This event is a networking opportunity for women in business in the local community to see how the College encourages and supports its recent leavers in their next stage of their lives”, said Principal Ashley Clancy.

Both Deputy Soulsby and Ms Clapham spoke inspirationally about how success is attributed to female role models in the workplace and having someone to encourage you to follow your dreams.
